Percutaneous Needle Electrolysis Accelerates Functional Muscle Regeneration in Mice

چکیده
Muscle regeneration after a traumatic injury can take an excessively long period of time. The purpose this study is to assess whether the action percutaneous needle electrolysis (PNE) accelerates muscle in cases partial injuries. gastrocnemius from adult Swiss male mice was inoculated with bupivacaine. PNE protocol applied 48 h treatment Immunofluorescence techniques were performed 72 bupivacaine evaluate synaptic contacts. end plate noise recorded by electromyography Bupivacaine induced local muscles, axons retracted, and endplate decreased at h, while increased injured limb where had been applied. Seven days later, functional values same as controls they maintained for 10 days. significantly greater on treated electric current when compared receiving only bupivacaine, indicating that use galvanic facilitated least point view. application during animal model reduces recovery time damaged tissue.

BACKGROUND Elderly people suffer from skeletal muscle disorders that undermine their daily activity and quality of life; some of these problems can be listed as but not limited to: sarcopenia, changes in central and peripheral nervous system, blood hypoperfusion, regenerative changes contributing to atrophy, and muscle weakness. متن کاملUltrasound-guided percutaneous needle electrolysis in chronic lateral epicondylitis: short-term and long-term results
BACKGROUND Ultrasound (US)-guided percutaneous needle electrolysis (PNE) is a novel minimally invasive approach which consists of the application of a galvanic current through an acupuncture needle. OBJECTIVE To evaluate the clinical and ultrasonographic effectiveness of a multimodal programme (PNE, eccentric exercise (EccEx) and stretching) in the short term for patients with chronic lateral...

Biopsies of thoracic lesions guidance. 22 of the 1 12 lesions were mediastinal and 83 were pleuroparenchymal. A large-bore 14-gauge Tru-cut needle was used in all patients. Adequate specimens for histologic examination were obtained in 98%. The overall accuracy was 91 % with 9% false negative and no false positive diagnoses. Despite the large size of the needle, the total number of complic...

متن کاملTargeted expression of IGF-1 transgene to skeletal muscle accelerates muscle and motor neuron regeneration.
Currently, there is no known medical treatment that hastens the repair of damaged nerve and muscle. Using IGF-1 transgenic mice that specifically express human recombinant IGF-1 in skeletal muscle, we test the hypotheses that targeted gene expression of IGF-1 in skeletal muscle enhances motor nerve regeneration after a nerve crush injury. The IGF-1 transgene affects the initiation of the muscle...
